About the work
In Theremin Sphere, the boundary between viewer and object begins to dissolve. Whirring oscillators can be shaped in real time with the hands; as visitors play, the sounds gradually lose their abrasive character and open into a soundscape in which one can lose oneself. Sound and image are directly coupled: every gesture sets the projected particles of the sphere in motion.
