About
Maurice Cazzolli (*1992, Merano, IT) builds systems rather than images. He defines the rules and conditions, then lets light, sound and particles produce configurations that never repeat.
His installations and performances combine real-time code, sensors and spatial sound with material from nature: alpine landscapes, water, field recordings. Recent work has been shown at Svetlo Valmez (CZ), Galerie Moto (AT), WIP LAB Nicosia (CY) and Palais Mamming Museum (IT).
Cazzolli is currently completing a Master of Education in Art and Physical Education at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the University of Innsbruck. He teaches, founded the cultural production company Resonant Cultures and is an Augmenta technology ambassador.
